1. 2 ½ cup All-Purpose flour
2. 1 ½ cup Sugar
3. 2tsp Coco powder
4. A pinch of salt
5. 1tsp Baking soda
6. 1 ½ cup Vegetable oil
7. 1 cup Butter milk (take a 1cup milk add 1tsp vinegar butter milk is ready)
8. 02Eggs
9. 1tsp Vanilla essence
10. 2tsp Red food colour

(Everything should be in the room temperature)

Getting ready to start :

First sift All-Purpose flour, salt, baking soda, coco powder.
Take a large bowl beat oil and sugar until it become creamy in colour then add eggs one by one then vanilla essence and butter milk now add red food colour. Add sifted All-Purpose flour into three to four parts fold gently now batter it become smooth.
Grease your cupcake tray or a pan arrange cup cakes liner pour the batter and bake it at 180c for 20 to 22 min. insert the toothpick when it’s come clear now the cup cakes is ready and cool it.

Cream cheese frosting
1. Cream cheese 1packet or 1pound softened
2. Butter 150gm softened
3. Confectioner sugar 4cups
4. Vanilla essence 1tsp


In a large bowl beat the cream cheese and vanilla essence together until smooth. Add a sugar on low speed mix it well until it become light and fluffy pipe it on with a big star nip yummy red velvet cupcake ready to eat serve and enjoy.
